Cyril R Salter shaving cream is a wonderful product. It was a pretty good price too! I got mine for around $15 at www.westcoastshaving.com. To those who haven't use a quality shaving cream, that might sound pretty steep. However, compared to those mass marketed shaving gels in a can, this shave cream will last me about 5-6 months of shaving.

Well, this message just prompted me to order another soap! I'm also a big fan of Cyril R. Salter's French Vetiver Cyril R. Salter is a great brand from England that has a very complete variety of fragrances. Anyone is sure to find something in this line that will suit them. Their cream whips into a rich lather that is very stable and easy to create. Their fragrances smell fabulous, and they use real essential oils. The D.R. Harris and the Trumper are well regarded,and I have red good things about the Vulfix and the Cyril R Salter ones, but never have tried them.

Shaped to hold most shaving soaps on the top allowing any excess water to drain away when creating a lather. Its very rosy indeed. TOBS does a nice rose cream in a tube and a tub. D.R. Harris does a very nice rose in both tube and tub and Cyril R. Salter does a really nice Wild Rose in a tub. All of the tub creams are definitely soft enough to qualify as creams for super lathering. I didn't realize I had so many rose scented shaving soap. Its a very good soap.Its scent is like the Truefitt and Hill shaving soap , or the Vulfix/John Lewis/TOBS traditional shaving soap ( Vulfix/TOBS traditional shaving soap) but I find it better skin care wise than those other soaps.
